A top of the art, luxurious 5* hotel is looking for a professional and vibrant individual to join their team and report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. The aim of this role is to maintain the quality and standards of this longstanding institution and will be in charge of the following in a pressurized environment:

• Training and Development
• Time Management
• Payroll Procedure and Financial Management
• Operational Performance and Planning

Requirements:

• Appropriate national diploma in hospitality management
• Minimum of two years’ experience in F&B in a 5* environment
• Experience in disciplinary issues and procedures
• Strong banquet and conference experience
• MS Office Proficient
• Micros Fidelio Proficient
• Opera PMS experience advantageous
• Self-motivated and highly organised

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop high standards of service of F&B departments
• Organizing, planning, directing and managing the cost effective operation of all Food & Beverage outlets
• Foresee and budget forecast of cover, revenue and payroll costs for all F&B outlets to ensure the most cost effective operations possible without sacrificing service and standards
• Achieve hygiene, health and safety standard requirements
• Interviewing, screening and hiring of new employees.
• Appraising performance; recognition and discipline
• Co-ordinate training programmes and skills enhancement initiatives for F & B staff in guest service, safety, hygiene.
• Handle guest queries and staff concerns
• Ordering and quality evaluation of all foods and related supplies and maintaining of appropriate inventory levels.
• Oversee all aspects of catered functions
• Guest interaction regarding special events, dietary requests and other requirements
• Oversee all departments
