High volume 4* Hotel situated wishes to appoint an Assistant F & B Manager that meet the following criteria:Matric qualificationDiploma / degree in Food and Beverage / Hotel Management from a recognised institutionPrevious experience in a high volume 4 /5 * hotelAt least 2 - 3 years experience in a F & B Supervisory / Assistant roleResponsibilities will include:Assist the F & B Manager with the day to day to day operational management of the department including restaurants, bars, in room dining, pool terrace, mini bars and conference and banquetingAssist with the financial management of the departmental budget including the control of revenue and expensesImplementation of systems and procedures to ensure guests service delivery is above standards and sound operational practices are followedHR related functions including recruitment, staff development, training and dealing with IR mattersAssisting with Hotel Duty Management shiftsThis position involves shift work and own, reliable transport is essential.
