The Assistant Trainer is responsible for assisting and executing of training activities of the college

within the framework of the approved curriculum.

Conduct learning according to the highest FGASA standards including the College's guiding culture.

Standard operating processes.

Facilitating lectures workshops training sessions as well as activities in the field.

Offer guidance and support to students.

Adhere to CATHSSETA requirements for training providers.

Looking after day to day preventative maintenance and assisting with general Maintenance if needed.

Ensuring that the vehicles are being driven sensibly and with care by students and staff.

Keep rifles stored and maintained according to safety rules and regulations

Posting of information on social media channels at least twice a week.

Ensuring that the students exiting the college have the highest calibre of knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Skills :

Grade 12.

Minimum 5 years guiding experience.

FGASA Level 3

Trails Guide.

ARH Rifle Proficiency.

First Aid Level 2.

Drivers License PRPD.

Previous experience as Senior Guide or Head Guide.

Prior experience in training and facilitation.

Salary R 20 000 - R 25 000 - including accommodation and company benefits.
