Kendrick Recruitment is now looking for an Assistant Lodge Manager for one of the most luxurious 5* lodges based in the Kruger National Park. The role will include assisting the Lodge Manager in managing and bringing together all aspects and departments of the lodge to create an unforgettable experience for all the guests and to exceed their expectations. The role will also encompass the management of the staff morale and their development within the lodge. In the absence of the Lodge Manager the Assistant Lodge Manger will oversee the lodge entirely and will stand in as relief. Following these relief roles a full handover must be presented to the Lodge Manager on their return. The role requires the following key skills and qualifications/experience:A minimum of 4 years work experience in a 5* lodge environment in a junior management roleA hospitality degree or qualificationExceptional F&B experienceFinancial management abilityA hardworking individualA keen eye for detailExceptional English and other languages would be preferredComputer literateExcellent management and communication skillsKnowledge of basic HR practisesUnderstanding of Housekeeping and Maintenance departments This position is available immediately.
