The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the logistics field, forwarding / clearing experience would be advantageous.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

1. Receive documents from clients
2. Monitor of shipments via airlines
3. Follow up with shipping lines
4. Prepare cost estimates and pricing on shipments
5. Ability to get the best rates
6. Organise transportations on the shipment to be delivered to clients
7. Monitor the status of the shipment
8. Ensure the adherence at customs of the shipments
9. Handle the customs documents
10. Prepare the file for invoicing and ensure the charges are correct
11. Application of intercoms
12. Frame entries
13. VOC’s, refunds and acquittals
14. Register shipments
