This exclusive property is now seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance of all 4 lodges to ensure complete guest satisfaction and five star standards are met.
The Assistant Maintenance Manager will run the maintenance department in the Manager’s absence, overseeing 25 staff members, as well as address all maintenance issues from guest rooms to staff facilities and the grounds. The position also involves some administration covering invoicing, ordering and stock takes. Previous Maintenance Management experience is essential, and a game lodge background is preferred. Successful candidate must have experience in the maintenance of air conditioners, fridges, gas appliances and generators, with electrical experience being high beneficial. Applicants must also posses their Code 10 diver’s license and any maintenance related qualifications; in Electrics, Plumbing or Refrigeration. Flexibility, staff management skills and presentability are essential for this position, along with a proactive and eager attitude.
