We are lookinh for a temporary Assistant Inventory control manager for our client, an Automobile company. The role is part the Inbound Parts Supply Department, which forms part of the Customer Service Division. The incumbent will report to The Import Procurement Manager and will focus on the Purchasing and Inventory Management of Import Service Parts Supply.
Key performance areas:

Maintain Allocation fill rate
Manage import supplier overdue purchase orders
Manage dealer back-order aging
Maintain import supplier stock months
Manage forecast performance
Manage air to sea ratio
Qualifications and experience:

NQF Level 6 (360 credits – 8 Level Framework) Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years purchasing and inventory management experience
Automotive industry experience would be an advantage
Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
PC Literacy (MS Office Packages)
SAP R3 and G-Topas system application
