Responsibilities:
Stock / building security and vehicle loading will be main responsibility.
Plan the rounds, supervise the picking and hash the rounds. Prepare for loading and then following the Pick to Load Process when loading trucks.
Manage six picking/loading teams
Manage the team w.r.t. productivity and time management.
Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages.
Manage logistics in warehousing and manage expenses in the department e.g. overtime.
Manage implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Managing the Food safety audit program.
Utilize the prescribed system to draw reports.
Manage and control of the Food safety requirements in the loading team.
Take charge of the department’s human capital issues including, discipline team members, investigations and prosecuting during hearings.
Manage the budget for the section.
Manage staff and welfare of members.
Manage stock control and inventory function including stocktake preparation.
Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:
A qualification in warehouse management
At least 3 years experience within an operations, logistics or distribution in an FMCG environment.
At least 2 years experience in people management.
Understanding of the supply chain from buying, selling to distribution.
Have technical knowledge of the day to day running of warehouse and loading.
