RedCat Recruitment is seeking an ASSISTANT PHARMACIST for a company based in the Newcastle area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Person must be Afrikaans speaking.
Relevant qualification (or studying forwards).
Would suit someone who is wanting to study further towards becoming a pharmacy assistant.
Interpret and evaluate doctors’ scripts.
Prepare and label the prescribe medication.
Supply and advise the client / patient on the medication.
Communicate with clients / patients in a good manner.
Receive dispensary stock and stock the shelves in pharmacy in the correct way.
Rotate medicine and check the expiry dates.
Pre-pack / re-pack medicine as per clients / patient request (script).
Must have a presentable appearance and be neat on him/herself.
Must have a friendly demeanour towards clients / patients.
Must have a good relationship with fellow staff members.
