Job Description: To assist the Restaurant General Manager to achieve employee retention, customer satisfaction, profit and sales targets as well as maintaining restaurant operational excellence in accordance with Company policies and procedures through team management. A broad overview of functions includes:
*Ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation & delivery
*Customer relations, customer satisfaction and customer retention
*Stock & cash management, restaurant maintenance & repair
*Team leadership, recruitment and retention of team members, staff development

Requirements and Qualifications:
*A Strong People Focus: training & development, fostering a positive culture
*Crazy about delighting customers and a passion for Hospitality - Willing to work Hospitality Industry hours, including night shift
*Leadership ability / Ability to work under pressure / Adaptability / Report writing / Drafting correspondence
*Staff management – including Reward and recognition / Succession planning / Performance management of staff
*Fluent in at least two of the 11 official languages – English plus one
*Communication, numeric and computer [especially Excel] proficiency
*Financial acumen and business skills
*Prioritising of activities / Planning and Organising / Time Management
*A ‘Can do’ attitude
*3 to 6 years of work experience is preferable with minimum of 1 to 3 years in a supervisory role in Hotel / Retail / Production / Manufacturing
