Our Client, a beautiful and popular Wine Estate situated in the Cape Winelands Area, is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their Business.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar environment a must.

A passion for the Hospitality Industry.

Must reside in the Winelands area.

Ability to manage a staff complement.

Ability to deal with problems occurring on a day to day basis.

Ability to deal with emergencies

Knowledge of the operation.

Excellent knowledge of food preparation and terminology.

Excellent knowledge of beverages and wines.

The ability to work as an individual and as a team

The ability to communicate with clients.

Own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Hosting the clients with exceptional Standards of Excellence

Manage and maintain operational equipment.

Assisting with Stock control and ensuring that all SOP’s are being followed.

Manage staff, Rosters and Wages. Working according to a budget.

Achieving service excellence though Teamwork and promoting growth of service staff.

Ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all areas.
