ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER (SHIFTS), KIMBERLEY, RNEG, CV
• Grade 12
• PSIRA Registered - Grade C minimum
• Valid Driver’s License with PDP (an advantage)
• 2 years' experience as an Assistant Security Officer (or similar position)

• Mental and physical fitness
• No criminal record. Incumbents will be required to undergo integrity assessments and a minimum of two (2) polygraph
• examinations per annum
• Shift work
• Will be required to travel and be absent from “home-base” for extensive periods
• Industrial Action containment experience/training
• Special Operations experience/training

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Apply and maintain security control measures according to policies and procedures
• Apply knowledge to secure operations in the plant
• Assist in performing risk assessments
• Collect and verify relevant information in accordance with pre-set requirements
• Ensure adherence and compliance to security and company HSEQ objectives
• Identify and report on security non-conformances
• Perform access control, freight control, alcohol testing and escorting duties
• Perform search function using scanning equipment
• Respond to alarms as per procedure
• Inspect and report on security allocates vehicles
• Perform one-on-one observations in the Plant area
• Perform vehicle and personnel searches
• Secure crime scene
• Contain and control of Industrial Action
• Special Security Operations upon instruction
