The Assistant Spa Manager is part of spa management team and is responsible for providing support to the Director of the Spa in the daily running of supervising the Spa Therapists, Nail Technicians, ground staff and Yoga and Pilates instructors.Saxonwold JHBBasic R8000 – R10 000Commission on Retail and Nett ProfitThe position requires someone who has experience working in a fully equipped spa with steam and sauna facilities and can motivate a team with varying skills and responsibilitiesThis position requires a hardworking, friendly, approachable and highly adaptable service oriented individual who has passion about exceeding customers' expectation, excellent guest engagement skills and solid experience in spa operationAttention to detail and the passion to see projects through to the end would also be key elements for any successful Assistant Spa Manager candidateYou will be leading by example, delivering the highest possible standards of customer service to our guests and clients and also helping with the development and training requirements of the teamHe / She is also supporting and maintaining marketing / sales initiatives in order to achieve the desired revenue of the spaThe Assistant Spa Manager will be responsible for the stock of the spa productsBesides leading the team, the Assistant Spa Manager needs to have the ability to conduct training for employees.Hours vary per week but will include weekends and evenings and must have own transport.Must be passionate for the beauty industryWell presented, self motivated peoples personAuthentic and compassionate interest in peopleA minimum of two years work experience in spa administration dutiesRelevant administrative or secretarial qualification, proof of qualification requiredExcellent computer experience in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
