Our client, one of the leading reserch companies globally is looking for an experienced Associate Account Director.
Responsible for the research design, planning and execution on the clients audience measurement service for existing and new projects. Ensuring implementation of media best research practices.

1. Financial Management and Business Acumen:
· Contribution to the growth and profitability of the client account
· Provide solutions to company barriers that are holding back profitability and growth
2. Client Development and Management
· Handles client enquiries regarding research inputs and outputs
· Takes accountability for client satisfaction on overall project delivery
· Shares relevant industry information/trends with key stakeholders to keep them informed and connected with company
· Has a deep understanding of the client business, industry, strategy and business issues
· Provide input on client proposal with respect to research methodology and process
· Demonstrate research & marketing expertise to inspire clients and team
· Is recognised by clients as an expert in media reserach
3. People Development & Management
· Recruit, develop, and retain high quality people through succession planning and performance management

4. Research Skills
4.1 Proposal & Research Design
o Responsible for the overall design of research project on the client service
o Involved in, contribute to and provide value and insight in discussions around complex or difficult proposals / alternative methodologies
o Ensure proposals are costed efficiently and the risk explicitly stated for both development and the client’s development
o Leads/instigates brainstorming on some projects

4.2 Questionnaire
o Design all relevant questionnaire to ensure key client business questions and issues are being addressed
o Work closely with Client Service team to obtain necessary sign off of questionnaires

4.3 Project Management
o Briefing of research projects into relevant internal departments and providing all associated project research documentation

4.4 Analysis and Insights
o Analysis of research project related to the client service and associated ad hoc client requests
o Suggest analysis and insights based on strategic issues for the client and market
o Review insights and presentations prepared by direct reports and add value based on
o deeper client knowledge and experience
o Responsible for finalising presentations/reports/deliverables for relevant research studies

· Responsible for consultation with key stakeholders

· Relevant tertiary education (B.Com /Business Admin, B Bus Sc Marketing B. Bus Sci Marketing, Project Management / relevant degree pref)
· Must have at least 3-5 years working experience
· Must have a very good working and practical knowledge of the research process and marketing research.
· Research experience in audience measurement preferable.
· Must have proven record of work experience in deadline driven pressurised environment
