We are looking for a senior level Associate Director/ Director specialising in Tax for our client based in Sandton / JHB Surrounds

Associate Directors/ Directors whom meet the requirements and wish to be considered can send their confidential word document cv & indication of TCOE for consideration

Focus of the role – our client whom is a reputable firm is wishing to grow their Tax Consulting Business Unit and has elected to appoint an Associate Director/ Director in Tax Whom has a Legal Taxation background

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collate and write taxation reports and opinions including research issues in respect of RSA and International Tax laws.
Prepare documents and assist clients with tax audits and provide cross border taxation advice and assistance
Tax structuring and transactional experience is paramount
Manage Exchange Control queries and applications
Work within the continent of Africa jurisdiction
Manage their Business Units cash flow and billings
Development of their own Business Units practice
Assist with Business Development
Tax litigation experience beneficial
Tax consulting on various tax topics
Assist with training

REQUIREMENTS – our client will consider suitably senior Associate Directors/ Directors with

Legal Taxation background
Legal firm experience
Relevant Tax qualification
CA (SA) with minimum 5 years post articles legal experience in tax consulting
