Synopsis:
Leading financial services provider based in Sandton is looking to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced individual to mange disability claims within client portfolio, perform disability assessments and consult with clients re disability and incapacity

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
BSc Occupational Therapy / BSc Physiotherapy
2 Years clinical experience and / or insurance health risk experience
Strong clinical knowledge and application thereto to disability assessments
MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word (intermediate minimum)

Job Description:
Suitably skilled and experienced individual to mange disability claims within client portfolio, perform disability assessments and consult with clients re disability and incapacity. Responsibilities include:
• Managing disability, ill-health and incapacity claims within client portfolio, including:
o Conducting disability assessments
o Liaising with relevant insurers
o Liaising with clients
o Compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Consulting with corporate clients on disability, ill health and incapacity issues
• Client management, including:
o Ensuring clients are satisfied with service received in terms of claims management
o Assisting with training sessions and presentations
o Assisting with compiling Trustee reports
o Confirming status reports are accurate and are sent to clients as required
• Case management, including:
o Ensuring claims (incapacity and disability) allocated conform to required standards
o Resolving client queries
o Ensuring effective communication with role-players involved in the claims process
• Assisting with projects as required
• Attending meetings as required
• Engaging in professional and other developmental activities such as CPD sessions, etc
