3-5 year of Post Qualification experience in commercial litigation,
Excellent English language and writing skills,
Candidates will not be relocated however there is no preference for where the candidate should be admitted,

Job Description

To undertake general litigation work allocated from time to time,
Advise Client Services of the Council on general legal matters, with particular reference to commercial litigation,
Negotiate and draft legal documentation when required to do so,
Support Client Services through training and the provision of appropriate legal information,
Provide assistance with exercising the general organisation, supervision and management of junior and unqualified staff,
Ensure that the provision of legal services by the Litigation Section meets Clients’ expectations and agreed targets of performance and demonstrate that the Section is accountable and actively pursuing quality assurance and customer care policies,
To assist and contribute towards the development and review of Service Level Agreements, Service Plans and service reviews,
To carry out such other duties as may be allocated from time to time by the Senior Solicitor (Litigation) or the Chief Legal Officer.

Ideal Candidate
