Top Banking and Credit Law firm seeks Attorney Home Repossession Cases. Liaise with clients and help them to deal with banks wanting to repo their houses.

Non-Negotiables (We will check):

* Expertise in credit law, processes and procedures
* A tiger who can fight and beat the big creditors
* Researcher who can understand and use Legal Precedents
* Very good at finding weaknesses in contracts and legal procedures
* Empathetic to desperate clients
* Analytical Driver
* 5+ years in Credit Law, Processes and Procedures
* 2+ years litigation and court appearances

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Banking and Credit Law sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Client Liaison

* Meet clients
* Understand their challenges
* Get them to sign-up (i.e. Pay for services)
* Render services

Creditor Liaison

* Meet with creditors
* Issue papers and summons
* Seek settlement arrangements

Research and Analysis

* Research precedents
* Research constitutionality (with assistance)

Standardisation & Optimisation

* Write standard litigation documents and letters
* Write standard operating procedures for admins

Litigation

* Compile papers and notices
* Appear in court
* Defend case using proven precedents
* Win case
* Get costs

Key Job Deliverables:

* Stop sale in execution
* Protect clients from losing their homes

Background work experience:

* 5+ years in Credit Law, Processes and Procedures
* 2+ years litigation and court appearances
* Legal Degree with some specialisation in credit law
* Analysing contracts
* Credit law, processes, procedures and litigation
* Settlement agreements and out of court settlements
* Adv: Specific experience dealing with banks and/or home loans

Location: Fourways

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R360K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
