Conduct all audiology work according to the set standards in the following documents: Paediatric Protocol Audio logical Test Battery & Other Otoscopic Examination Pure tone Air Conduction Pure tone air conduction – Masking Pure tone bone conduction Audiograms Pure tone bone conduction – masking Speech reception threshold (SRT) Speech discrimination (SD) Speech Audiograms Tympanometry Impression taking Insertion Gain Hearing Aid selection guidelines Fitting/Counselling guidelines Programming protocol Follow-up Checking h/aids for minor repairs as per spec file Manual Invoices – test / hearing aid / repair / etc. Report writing Order HAIDs & Accessories Follow up on Quotes within 2 weeks Testing of HAID Ear mould Tubings Contact MAID re patient benefits
Requirements Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English (non-negotiable) Excellent client relationship skills Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and/ or Audiology Registration with the Health Professional Council of SA
