REQUIREMENTS:
Matric with Accountancy
Relevant tertiary Degree - Essential
3 – 5 Years’ experience
Pastel Accounting
Pastel Payroll
Excel
Caseware
IFRS for Small and Medium sized enterprises

DUTIES:
Preparing and analysing annual financial statements for privately owned companies, partnerships, etc.
Preparation of annual and interim financial statements
Manage fixed asset register and the depreciation thereof
Review customers and suppliers age analysis and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly reconciliations for VAT and PAYE
Review profit and loss
Deal with accrual journals and monthly management for clients
Capitalise expenditures where applicable
Prepare and review the clients’ monthly management accounts
Travel on a regular basis to see clients (Locally and Nationally)
Prepare VAT, budgeting, forecasting and commentary
Able to deal with a large SME portfolios
Prepare Income tax, VAT, Dividend Tax, Provisional Tax and PAYE returns
Responsible for auditing of annual financial statements
Handle trust audits for Real Estate Agents, Attorneys and Debt collectors
Preparation of audit papers and inventory counts
Develop and manage accounting clerks
Review work completed by junior staff

SALARY: R350k – R450k per annum CTC (no benefits)
