Audit Senior/Audit Supervisor

• Recently completed articles (at medium sized firm) and CTA
• Must have had Maths and Accounting in Matric with a pass of 70% or higher
• Must come from an auditing firm specialising in PRIVATE companies. Please do not apply if you worked on government entities
• Strong Caseware and IFRS knowledge
• Experience in managing staff
• Wants to remain in audit profession
• Own transport essential (including valid SA driver’s license)
• Have a consistently good academic record;
• Be fluent in English and have good communication skills;
• Be motivated and able to work independently;
• Have good time management skills;
• Be able to work under pressure;
Responsibilities:
• Planning and managing audits;
• Performing high-level audit work;
• Reviewing work performed by trainees and audit files prior to presentation to partners;
• Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines;
• Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously;
• Managing, training and evaluating trainees in terms of SAICA requirements;
• Compliance with all accounting, auditing and other technical issues; and
• Supporting audit partners on all accounting, auditing and tax matters.
