For this role completed SAICA articles coupled with 1-2 years post article experience is required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervision of staff & work
Planning of staff to assignments
Preparation & Review of financial statements & supporting documents files performed by trainees
Monitoring & managing efficiency of staff members
Liaison between staff and partners
Assist with Audits on an ad hoc basis
Assist with Taxation issues on an ad hoc basis
Preparation of budgets and proposals for clients
Handling planning queries and changes
Assisting with the PR/ANA process
General HR admin including leave authorisations
Managing assignment audit list
Ad hoc duties
Productivity and WIP management
SPECIFICATIONS Successful applicants would need to:
Have knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SME accounting standards, international auditing statements, South African tax legislation and other related Acts
Have the ability to adapt to different situations
Take initiative and ownership of work responsibility
Have the ability to work well in a team environment
Have the ability to work under pressure
Have good communication and presentations skills
Have good time management, problem solving and delegation skills
Knowledge of all SAICA regulations and related systems
Be able to deal with a wide array of clientele
Be able to work independently, as well as be a team player
