AUDIT SUPERVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking suitably qualified high performing professionals (supervisors and above) to join our audit department. You will... be involved in providing assurance services to our portfolio of clients in various industries, leading and supervising audit teams during fieldwork and taking responsibility for finalisation of audit engagements.
This position will report directly to senior management and will have a direct responsibility for audit engagements as follows:
• Deliver high quality audit and assurance service.
• Achieve team and individual budgets and business performance objectives.
• Review budgets and WIPS of audit engagements and meet deadlines.
• Maintain the highest technical and professional standard.
• Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
• Addresses situations before they become a crises and develops solutions to avoid recurrence.
• Monitor and supervise auditing staff.
• Planning and finalisation of audit files and reporting for review by senior management.
• Coach, train and develop auditing staff to upgrade their knowledge.
• Completes tasks assigned to you efficiently and maintains communication regarding progress with your seniors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• BCom or BCompt degree with completed SAICA Articles
• Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills including leading teams
• Recently qualified Chartered Accountants welcome to apply.
