PURPOSE

• Prepare for audits according to clients’ requirements


• Conducting of audits according to the company certification standards


• Market and sell the certification business to clients


• Deliver excellent customer services


• Optimize own performance within the team


• Ensure that all administration and reporting is kept up to date (within scope of control)

KPA’s OR KEY OUTPUTS

• Certification of companies to ISO 9001 and  Product Certification Scheme


• Compilation and issue of typed assessments and audits reports within 5 working days from the date of the audit


• Compilation and issue of typed assessments and audits schedules 6 weeks prior the scheduled date


• Client liaison including records of audits, including customer complaints, and corrective actions


• Co-responsibility of team objectives in the overall attainment of the department’s goals


• Compiling and submitting certification contract agreements to Manager


• Obtain technical information on standards


• Giving direction on certification processes


• Conduction pre-assessments visits


• Generating quotations for potential clients and existing clients including annual quotation


• Involved in identifying new system certification products


• Complaints resolution


• Communication with clients to maintain relationship


• Submission to Approvals Board timeously and accurately with no rejections


• Submission monthly car log sheet and weekly MCS reports


• Submission of travel claims timeously and accurately


• Maintain good relationship with members

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Be in possession of a suitable tertiary qualification (Electrical Engineering)


• Candidate Auditor: A minimum of 4 years work experience in High Voltage or Power Generation or Electrical Appliances Manufacturing company


• Possession of an electrical wireman’s licence will be an advantage


• Principal Auditor: A minimum of 10 years work experience in High Voltage or Power Generation


• A certificate of attendance at ISO 9001 training course would be an advantage


• SAATCA registration as auditor for Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage


• Must be in possession of a driver’s license, reliable car and willing to travel

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of System and Product Certification Requirements


• A fair knowledge of the manufacturing processes within the Electro technical Sector


• Understanding of the demands in the Electro technical Sector as well as legislation governing it
