An excellent company in the Northern Cape of Kathu is looking for the exceptional services of an Auto - Electrician to join their dedicated team! The purpose of this position is to ensure that the auto electrical standard is set and that customers are satisfied with repairs and service offered by the technician and company alike.

Requirements:

- Matric
- Trade Qualification (Automotive Electrician)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within the field
- Driver's License
- Product Knowledge (Auto Electrical products)

Attributes:

- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- Must be able to handle and work under pressure

Responsibilities:

- Service, identify and repair faults on electronically controlled machines such as electronic field systems, electronic gear selection, air-conditioning and monitoring systems
- Install electrical components and equipment such as gauges, lights, radios, alternators, starter motors and wiring looms
- Test the repaired parts/vehicles for safety, using special tools in order to ensure the proper operation and effectiveness of maintenance activities
- Install electrically operated accessories such as radios, strobes, cameras and converters
- Testing and replacing of faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, magneto's and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries
- Use of hand tools, specialized electrical tools and instruments and machines, including drills, grinders, presses and lathes, etc.
- Repair and service air - conditioning systems
- Any other duties as reasonably requested from the company
