Broad Purpose / Function:

A leading company in the metal industry is looking for a qualified CNC Programmer/Operator
Education
• Trade Tested Mechanical Artisan and excellent CNC Machining skills.
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar will be advantageous
• CNC qualified Programmer
Experience
1. 3 to 5 years experience gained in a steel component manufacturing environment working on CNC machines
2. CNC Programming - single and multi-spindle machines
3. Production Processing
4. Mechanical background knowledge
5. Experienced on Lathe and Milling machines
6. Able to work in Cape Town
Duties
• Ensure that products are produced according to specific standards (extreme fine tolerances)
• Project improvements
• Adhere to the production plan
• Keep up to date with relevant equipment
• Lean Manufacturing principles
