Our Client, a well-run travel agency, is currently seeking a Automation and Process Manager to join their successful and long-established offices in Cape Town. Your 3 – 5 years’ working previous working experience with automation software for air ticket fulfilment is required for this position.

Overview of position:
The Automation and Process Manager will be responsible for automation applications within the fulfilment processes, including fraud-checks, payments, ticketing and after-ticketing processes within a global environment.

Entry Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Fluency in German would be advantageous
• 3-5 years' work experience with automation software for air ticket fulfilment;
• Experienced user of AMADEUS;
• Must be able to translate user requirements into technical requirements
• Knowledge of a second GDS (preferably SABRE) is an advantage;
• Bachelor's degree with a focus on the Travel Industry is an advantage;
• Strong problem-solving ability, combined with a high level of initiative;
• Capability to operate and thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge, passion and/or experience of travel industry is a plus;
• Must be able to use all standard Microsoft Office applications;
• Performance and detail-oriented.
Main duties would include, but are not limited to:
• Analysis of existing processes
• Design of improved processes (ongoing)
• Requirements for development teams
• Introduction of tools and applications
• Preparation of manuals for users
• Involvement in training

The salary for this position is negotiated by the Client and is linked to your relevant working experience.
