Automation Tester

Company Introduction
The company provides consulting services on all aspects of the software development life cycle, including Analysis, Design, Architecture, Programming, Testing and Project Management.

Minimum requirements
• Matric and a 3 year completed degree or diploma
• 3 Software testing experience a must
• Scripting language is essential
• SQL scripting

Responsibilities
• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts including test analysis
• Managing business requirements and automated test cases
• Log defects
• Communicate any software issues to test/business analysts

Competency:
• iOS knowledge
• Love to hack with scripting languages like python, groovy, Javascript or even java
• Know databases like the back of your hand and are comfortable navigating schemas and tables
using SQL
• You have a DRY (Don’t repeat yourself) approach to testing
• Desire to learn
• Desire to achieve
• Team player
• Ability to work alone and self-manage
• Quality driven
• Ability to work outside of one’s comfort zone
• Possess the desire to solve problems
