Job Description:

The Cape Town offices of an expanding international brokerage company is looking for an Automation Tester to join the team. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. You should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the Quality Assurance lifecycle and methodology.

Qualification:

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web/E-commerce, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree.
• ISTQB – Foundation level Certified

Skills & Experience:


2 years’ relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good experience using development/scripting languages like Powershell, Javascript, C#, VB, ASP .NET, SQL and formats like JSON and XML.
Proficient database skills in MS SQL Server
Good understanding of object oriented programming .NET, C#
Knowledge of automated testing tools
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously

Salary R50 000 CTC
