Duties
Dispatch all General store goods / parts in accordance with company procedures.
Notify Store manager of damaged goods in the store and accurately complete the necessary procedures for non-acceptance in accordance with company standards.
Verify and check parts called up on the picklist/s.
Generate pick list, complete picking and book out parts / assemblies.
Check the correct quantities of stock per picking lists for lines and manufacturing stations.
Check that the correct goods get packed / unpacked. Loading of correct quantities onto pallets / baskets for collection.
Loading and dispatching of goods.
Ensure production lines have parts as required.
Ensure goods dispatched are captured in terms of quantities, variant and condition.
Daily reporting on all stock that not going out at the end of the day.
Assist the Store Manager in preparing for store monthly stock take and cycle counts.
Ensure the flow of stock is maintained, that collection notes arriving are receipted the same day and sent to the production station or store location/s for storage.
Ensure all physical controls over the dispatching area are in place and operational.
Ensure dispatching area is in an acceptable and orderly condition.
Assist in managing and controlling stock.
Keep all files/documents updated.
Keep track of transactions.
Liaising with suppliers, Store manager and Buyer/s.
