OUR CLIENT requires the services of a qualified Industrial Engineer in the Repairs department. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible to identify all the problem areas, investigate the problem area(s) and should be able to determine their root causes. The root causes should be presented to management where after project plan(s) should be compiled. The Industrial Engineer will ultimately be responsible for the implementation/role out of these plans and the management thereof.
Planning Ensure high production and produce cost reductions and higher levels of efficiency.
Plan, co-ordinate and maintain all manufacturing information and systems.
Co-ordinate the movement of raw/finished products from point of origin to point of consumption. Create shop packets for manufacturing orders.
Manage BOM clerks.
Generating component parts and raw material order requirements based on customer demand.
Facilitating shipping schedules for direct purchasing of imported goods.
Manage raw material and component stock to identify if there are any concerns and implementation of countermeasure to mitigate potential problems
. Effective planning and execution of monthly and daily production requirements.
Execution of monthly stock take and analysis for Tyre Store.
Uploading information onto internal MRP system
. Analysis of reports & informed decision making Maintain & improve productivity levels.
Problem identification and problem solving.
Assist in maintaining and updating production schedules.
Process work orders and any other production support activities as required
. Develop and plan daily production schedules based on input from all team members.
