AUTOMOTIVE MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (FITTER & TURNER), DURBAN, RNEG + BEN

• TRADE TESTED OLIFANTSFONTEIN ( FITTER & TURNER)
• NAT DIPLOMA MECHANICAL ENG / T3 OR TRADE WITH N6
• 10 YEARS EXP IN AUTOMOTIVE OR FMCG INDUSTRIES
• EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF HYDRAULICS AND PNEUMATICS
• MUST HAVE EXP IN INJECTION MOULDING / BLOW MOULDING MACHINES
• ABLE TO WORK SHIFFS AND DO STANDBY ( WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS IF BREAKDOWN)
• ABLE TO RUN NEW PROJECTS

o Must have an excellent knowledge and experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics.
o Proficient in English (Read, Write and Communicate)
o At least 10 years’ experience in Automotive or FMCG Industries
o Incumbent must have experience having worked on either Injection Moulding or Blow Moulding machines.
o Fault finding and root cause analysis skills and experience
o Must be able to read electrical drawings
o Be able to work independently as well as in a team.
o Be able to supervise artisans
. o Able to run projects and new installations.
o Will be on standby for the plant to handle key breakdowns after hours and work over weekends when required.
o Will need to work shifts o Will be responsible for safety in the plant on equipment
. o Preference would be given to a person who has worked on Injection moulding and Blow moulding machines.
o The incumbent would need to control budgets.
o Full understanding of Moulding equipment and the ability to lead a team to rectify errors
. o Ability to train and develop trainees.
