• * KRAUS / MAFFEI/ HAITIAN/ FERROMATIC MILLACRON
• * PLC’S / VARIABLE SPEED DRIVES (VSD)
• EXPERIENCE IN MAINTENANCE OF INJECTION BLOW MOULDING MACHINES
• EXPERIENCE IN ROBOTS ( FANUC /ALFA/ SEPRO ROBOTS)
• EXPERIENCE IN TS 16949 / ISO14001 AND OSHACT

The Moulding Technician will be responsible for the following:
• Provide input and support to ensure all preventative, predictive, breakdown maintenance in moulding and assembly machinery and equipment for both electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Optimise all tools and equipment to ensure sustained quality in the production process, control documents should be kept to trace maintenance aspects
• Support and provide input to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
• Actively participate in the preparation and submission of all Injection Moulding/Assembly proposals for recording and verification to ensure continuous improvement and optimisation
• Manage, control and record spare parts usage and ensure optimum stock levels
• Monitor and analyse all equipment breakdowns and provide statistical reporting on trends and occurrences
• Use of effective problem-solving techniques to determine root cause analysis of failures and defects
• Compile and update work instructions where deemed necessary for maintenance and production processes
• Support start-up and shut down processes of the plant.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Production and Quality) where and when required to ensure continuous supply and provision of maintenance related support and resources
• To assist with the development, introduction and sustainability of the maintenance program
• To ensure compliance to Company policies/procedures and all legislative requirements and to timeously inform management of any deviations
• To adhere to all aspects of the OSHACT, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001
• To ensure all maintenance is done according to SANS regulations
• To ensure all equipment, power and hand tools are in good and safe working condition and operated, stored and maintained in accordance with specific requirement
• To assist with all other tasks that may be deemed to be operational, which responsibility should not unduly be withheld
• To be totally committed to the Company’s vision and goals to be number one in the automotive component industry
• To be on standby duties and work overtime when deemed necessary in accordance with the stipulations in the company policies and procedures relating to overtime and standby requirements
• To be responsible for own self-development and actively contribute to the overall development of the team
