Leading AV/VC Company based in Woodmead are looking for experienced installer / programmers to lead a team of audio visual installers. Your skills and experience are required to ensure all installations are implemented to a professional standard as per Company policies and processes.

Key areas of focus will include:

Project Installations

Overseeing the running and termination of AV cables as well as the racking of equipment
Ensure correct installation of AV Hardware into ceilings, tables and necessary shop fittings
Arrange for secure storing of equipment and tools on site whenever necessary
Responsibility for chairing the PPM and ensuring that each project is well understood and carefully planned for and that PPM are held to a professional standard in terms of preparation and presentation
Ensure that all equipment required for installation is checked thoroughly against the BOQ, SOW, Room Layouts and schematics before arriving on site
Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
Ensure and maintain extremely high standards of support and service
Ensure that all company property used by yourself and your team are maintained and looked after.
Be a positive influence on other staff in the Division and the Company
Be adept in the use of most modern s/w apps such as MS Office Suite, Outlook etc. as well as to be able to read and write reports
Ensure ongoing self-training and identifying training needs
Provide afterhours service and stand-by from time-to-time
Requirements

Matric certification essential coupled with AV Certifications
AMX, Crestron, Polycomm, Infocomm highly advantageous
A reliable motor vehicle and a valid driver’s licence required
Min 3 - 5 years experience within a similar role
AV and VC experience required
Previous experience in managing people
