Our client a Fast Growing Insurance Organisation is looking for a Highly Competent Equity Individual to join their
Information Technology Team.

Do you have 4 years’ experience in a Telephony-Network administrator support position, working in a 1000 plus user size company where you’ve been responsible for multiple systems telephony and data network management?

• Do you have a Matric ?
• An Avaya Certified Support Specialist
• HP or Cisco Certification

Then this could be the foundation for you to grow your career within a Dynamic IT team.

The Key Objectives of the AVAYA System Administrator will be :

• Provide Avaya telephony and relevant system setup, support, backups, health checks, performance and maintenance to the Organisation (24x7 support),
• Provide HP LAN (LAN+Wifi LAN) and relevant system setup, support, backups, health checks, performance and maintenance to the Organisation (24x7 support),
• Manage and monitor Network and Telephony 3rd party service providers and vendors (WAN, ISP, other) through contract and SLA management,
• Monitor and manage Telephony Disaster recovery,
• Monitor and manage the Disaster Recovery LAN environments,
• Capture and update Telephony and Network related support calls through the IT support helpdesk system,
• Manage own IT support call technical assignments and according to set Organisation Service Level agreements,
• Manage Telephony and Network related incidents according to the set Organisation SLA,
• After hour support and task executions will be required and includes occasional co-ordination and execution of project related tasks,
• Manage relevant vendors and contracts,
• Manage end user UTP and other network cable installations (including cable vendor management),
• Manage all Server room and communications room cabling and patching.
