About the company:
Our client, a world class industry leader in travel, airline and logistics, is renowned for offering an exclusive service on a global scale. The company is offering an opportunity for a Group Avaya & IT Specialist who will be responsible for managing and supporting centralized technologies like Avaya, Genesys, Active Directory, Symantec suite and more, across 7 global sites.
 
Duties:
  • Creating / modifying of new Genesys and Avaya services
  • Installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining telephony systems hardware and software
  • Supporting and mentoring Local IT departments in using centralized technologies
  • Conducting standby and responding to all centralized technology incidents
  • Conducting capacity management across centralized technologies
  • Simulating infrastructure performance to understand future resource needs
  • Performing application sizing to ensure required service levels can be met
  • Producing a capacity plan that documents current utilization and forecasted requirements, as well as support costs for new applications or releases
  • Building the annual infrastructure growth plan with input from other teams
  • Performing capacity analysis of all network resources including circuits, equipment, ports, and IP addresses
  • Forecasting future capacity requirements and highlighting possible capacity issues early
  • Managing long distance rates and costs, processing data to producing Least Cost Routing tables
  • Performing various tasks related to traffic measuring and reporting of telephony networks
 
Requirements:
  • 5 years Contact Centre Technical knowledge and experience
  • Advanced working experience and understanding of Avaya telephony systems essential
  • Working experience and understanding of PBX and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) type solutions essential
  • ITIL Services framework understanding essential
  • Good MS Office skills essential
  • Genesys & Avaya Training and Certification desirable
  • Flexible, self-motivated and proactive
  • Analytical with problem solving skills
  • Develop an interest in the Contact Centre industry and its processes
  • Fluency in English
  • Team player
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to implement processes and procedures
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Quick Learner
