AVIATION SAFETY COORDINATOR
JOHANNESBURG
What will you be responsible for?
Coordinate and extract reports from functional system to enable reporting of functional activities.
Ensure the resolution of system related issues.
Conduct research to assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in functional area.
Complete trend analysis through qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
Conduct feasibility studies in functional area for envisaged initiatives and projects.
Respond to requests, queries and escalated complaints.
Conduct inspections and audits of Contractor activity on site.
Coordinate special projects and events.
Transcribe record and distribute meeting minutes to relevant parties.
Ensure all source documentation is confidentially maintained, securely stored and filed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Build, support and maintain healthy internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
What minimum requirements should we read in your cv?
National Diploma in Safety Management or related field.
2 - 3 years Safety and / or ARFF experience is essential.
1-2 years Supervisory experience would be an added advantage.
An understanding of Aviation Safety and ARFF compliance policies, practices, procedures, technologies, applicable legislation as well as knowledge of quality management systems.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office packages.
The candidate must have no criminal record, and will need to adhere to security clearance procedures.
