We are looking to fill the role of Accounting Assistant.

Educational requirements:

- Degree/Certificate in Accounting
- Microsoft office skills – you must be excellent in excel
- Experience: min 1-2 years
- Pastel experience
- CIPC – would be really nice to have
- SARS – nice to have
- Drivers license and own car

Key areas of responsibility:

- delivering daily, weekly, monthly reports for stakeholders;
- capturing data in Pastel;
- creating invoices on Pastel;
- in charge of certain reconciliations including debtors, creditors, bank, etc;
- preparing financial statements;
- submitting VAT and tax returns;
- keeping the statutory files up to date including ensuring and capturing minutes of the meetings by directors/trustees; and
- statutory work – CIPC and trusts
