Our client based in Cape Town is looking for Strong BI Analyst Developers to add to their team!

Your main responsibilities for this role will include the below tasks:
• The incumbent will utilize implementation tools and methodologies under the direction of the Development Manager and work closely with vendors, clients, technology partners and HST team members
• The incumbent will be required to support the department in the progress of the programming and software development requirements
• The key responsibilities will be to code and maintain the programming requirements of the Hospital Information System, Billing System and Third party interfaces
• To work with the client application specialists, trainers and support staff in advancing the Software Development Department’s deliverables
• Translate operational requirements into system terms
• Provide technical bug fixing and trouble-shooting resolution
• Contribute to documentation process and procedures
• Perform system implementations, release upgrades and system optimizations
• Provide support for testing, training and implementation
• Pre/Post GO LIVE and conversion activities
• Liaise with client application specialists regarding specific code changes, and enhancements to the various systems
• Must be able to learn Cache database skills and the HIS technology environment in a short space of time

Requirements for this role:
• Dot Net, Current and previous versions
• Expert knowledge of Web Forms
• .Net, C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, Angular js
• SQL Server, Oracle, Cache or similar
• Qlikview
• B.I Cubes
• Mdx Queries
• Data warehousing and integration (Expert Skills)
• Cache Database/Ensemble skills would be an advantage
• Previous experience in the Health ICT industry will be an advantage

Qualifications for this role:
• A completed 3-year degree with majors in Information Systems/Computer Science
• 5+ years’ solid programming experience in a structured programming environment
• 2 years’ experience in systems analysis and data modelling
• Solid understanding and proven track record working within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Must have experience in Agile programming methodologies
