Introduction
The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing and analysis of client and product data. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with “Big Data” projects in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities:

• Source, Analyze and implement client and product data received from product providers
• Maintain relationships with relevant data personnel from product providers.
• Approach and negotiate new or improved data sets from product providers. Ability to understand the process / data exchange methods as well as necessary content to answer business requirement ito data.
• Perform regular testing on the data sets loaded.
• Put processes in place to monitor data anomalies.
• Make improvement suggestions to development for improving the data retrieve and import process.
• Ability to translate findings in a business document for decision making purposes
• Ability to adapt to monthly repetitive process of receiving the data and applying appropriate data sanity checks
• Managing 2 data administrators
• Stakeholder management including distribution, support services eg IT, Finance, and wider group

Minimum Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Agile / Scrum experience
• Good understanding of the software development process
• Good negotiation ability
• Expert math skills
• Extensive experience in related roles in the financial services industry
• Experience in managing technology solutions
• Knowledge of wealth management & Insurance and adviser value proposition requirements
