EOH MS Services are currently looking for a Data Backup Engineer to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Matric. (Grade 12)
• ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
• 3 years Enterprise Operational server support experience.
• MCSE or MCITP
o Exchange
o Active directory
o Server 2003 +
• Minimum 3 years Backup experience with the following technologies (Backup Exec, CA ARC serve, CA D2D, Microsoft DPM, HP LiveVault, Veeam Backup & Replication)

Qualification in some of the following disciplines in addition will be an advantage:

o Microsoft Office Support (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
o LAN/WAN Infrastructure Support - printers, switches, routers, firewalls
o LAN/WAN Diagnostics - advanced - printers, switches, routers
o Network Security Support – Intermediate
o Mobile Device Configurations (ActiveSync, PDA, email setup on cell phones, tablets etcetera)
o Antivirus Support - Antigen, Forefront, Sophos, F-Secure, Trend, ESET, KES, or similar
o Antivirus Support - Antigen, Forefront, Sophos, F-Secure, Trend, ESET, KES, or similar
o Data Backup & Restoration Support
o File & Print Service support - – TCP/IP printing, LPR/LPD, print server support
o Server Infrastructure Support
o Server Operating System Support – Microsoft predominant
o Server Services - Microsoft
o Application Support – installation, upgrades, modifications, removals Software and Patch Distribution & Support
o Internet/Intranet Support – Intermediate
o Disaster Recovery - Support
o System Virtualisation
o Disaster Recovery
o Infrastructure Security Administration
o Server Hardware Support
o SAN Support
