Our client in Wellington is looking for a Baker.

REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
At least 2years experience in a similar role
Working Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP

Make sure that all machinery are in working condition and that everyone in the area is appropriately trained to use the machinery.
Make sure the area is clean and tidy.
Ensure that all paperwork/traceability sheets are completed
Ensure that the trolleys are baked according to production and packaging needs, ovens don’t stand unnecessary empty and are used efficient.
Ensure that products confirm with specification and explained differences.
Be aware of physical, chemical, micro and allergen hazards in factory and ensure that these are prevented
Report any food safety related issues to the Production Manager.
Have formal sign off with next shift hand over.
Make sure teams members in the baking area start and stop work at the approved times.
Ensure Team leaders have enough workers on each line.
Ensure workers stay on the line for the whole shift and take their breaks correctly.
Inform Production Manager of any problems.
Train new staff on quality standards

Salary: R5 500
