MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric
• Diploma in Food Technology or Degree in Food Science would be advantageous
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a bakery of which at least 5 year was spent in a management role
• Retail Industry experience
• Ability to function in a team
• Very good communication skills – English and Afrikaans
• Strong computer literacy
• Attention to detail
MAIN DUTIES:
• Identify ways to increase Retailer’s Bakery gross profit and sales
• Assist stores with ranging and menu design for the Bakery department
• Assist stores with recipes and recipe costings for the Bakery department
• Assist stores with stock and order control in Bakery department
• Assist stores with production planning to maximize Bakery productivity
• Assist stores with merchandising and display of foods in Bakery department
• Assist stores with the implementation of good hygiene and food safety standards in the Bakery department
• Assist project managers with store revamps and new store openings
• Advise on the purchasing, layout and maintenance of Bakery equipment
• Provide training to retailers on the Fresh/Retail Studio
• Identify food trends and implement in stores
SALARY PACKAGE:
• R20,000 + Company Vehicle + Pension Fund
