We are looking for an organized and experienced live-wire Banqueting Co-ordinator required for this hotel near Durban Beachfront. Are you well spoken, well presented, great with all types of people, passionate about the events environment and understand the big picture as well as the finer details of conferencing and banqueting.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure targets are met and exceeded
• Maintaining of F&B costs
• Prompt response to all queries
• Confirmation of bookings
• Ensuring that duty rosters are compiled
• Ensure that function set up is correct, all billing is correct
• Sales and marketing of the banqueting facilities
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification.
• At least 4 years in a 4* environment in a similar role including Group bookings and weddings
• Working Knowledge of OPERA
• Prepared to work relevant C & B hours
