DURBAN - Our client is looking for a Bar Manager, for a prestigious Hotel based on the Beach Front. The position is urgent. Candidate needs to be able to start immediately
Duties:
- Oversee bar staff
- Manage stock and stock rotation
- Adhere to the Hotel standards and hygiene rules
- Uphold the standard operation procedures of the Hotel
- Maintain good relationships with the suppliers
- Come up with specials and menus which are to be signed off by Head Officeand promotions
Requirements:
- Cocktail courses
- A candidate that comes from the Hospitality management industry and wants to move over to a bar management role
- Has experience in bar management role
- Barista / coffee experience
- 4 + years experience in same / similar role
- Knowledge of wines (highly beneficial)
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license
- Must be out-going
- Must be creative
- Must be innovative
