Barista - Sandton, JHB - new opening gourmet cafe

New Fashion Retail Center will be opening in Sandton soon. The store will have 3 floors with various brands. It will also have a Gourmet Cafe, with approx 64 seats front of house.

It will be serving gourmet sandwiches and burgers as well as breakfast and brunch favourites, great coffees and shakes.

We are seeking EXPERIENCED BARISTA who has a passion for coffee and an excellent customer service.

Requirements / skills:

min. 2 years experience as Barista
very good knowledge of using espresso machine
creativity in making coffees / foam art
able to work under pressure
very high food safety standards
excellent communication skills and fluent English

Start: ASAP

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
