Company in Managed healthcare is looking for a Basic/ Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant for the capturing of medicines for medicine authorisations and DUR.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain the workflow to enable medicine applications to be completed as per SLA and ensure member satisfaction

Ensure medicines for authorisations and DUR are captured in accordance with the SLA.

Resolution of medicine-related queries (from member/provider/broker etc.)

Assist Mediscor with online related claims

Assist service providers and members with telephonic queries regarding claims, authorisations and chronic benefit information.


Essential Skills:

Knowledge of clinical coding

Knowledge of the Medical Schemes Act and related legislation

Knowledge of medicine and its usage

Computer literacy

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12

Basic/ Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL

Medicine capturing experience in a medical schemes environment

Working experience in a retail pharmacy will be desirable

Salary:

R 250k - R 280k ctc per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

including medical aid and provident fund

Plus yearly performance based bonus
