Introduction:
To provide a specialist administration service to the BEE office and to partner with relevant roles and structures to build the BEE administration and reporting competence in the business.
Minimum Requirements:
(Technical and Functional)
- A sound understanding of the BEE Codes of Good Practice and relevant legislation
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Abstract thinker who is capable of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems
- Sound relationship building skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of decision making (strategic, tactical and operational)
- Strong influencing ability
- Strong communication and presentation (visualization) skills and the ability to communicate findings to key stakeholders
Minimum Qualification:
- Relevant 3 year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification in business, management, accounting, economics or information science
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Proven track record of working directly with Business Users
Job Specification:

- Ability to build models to enable scenario planning for business units
- Annual target setting – ability to build the capability for bottom up and top down scenario planning as well as the capability to consolidate both
- Ability to timeously deliver to individual business unit requirements as BEE Champion / Leadership teams / HRBP’s are mature users and require support in order to make informed decisions
- Monthly management of scorecard and distribution to all stakeholders
- Ability to pull all data / scorecards and consolidate information
- Ability to analyse data and manage data integrity related issues
BEE Verification:
- Ability to draw up and manage end to end project plan
- Ability to manage team / stakeholder to project plan
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all stakeholders
- Ability to manage relationship between Verification Agency and the company
- Ability to analyse, store and distribute data internally and externally
Support to BEE team:
- Keeping abreast of BEE legislation as well as related legislation
- Insight into the company’s business cycle in order to keep BEE Programme and BEE projects / initiatives aligned to business cycle
- Ability to conduct Industry benchmarks / best practice
- Ability to evaluate and identify trends
- Management of the various BEE platforms and sites
- Liaising with functional partners (HR and Finance), BEE Champions and other stakeholders
Support to BEE Programme Manager:
- Minute taking and distribution and management of diary / meetings in line with BEE Programme
- Support in drafting documents / presentations
