A client, based in the Pretoria CBD area, requires the skills and experience of a BI Application Administrator (for a period of 12 months).

Administration, maintenance and support of the OBIEE Application, ODI, BI server, Admin server, Weblogic server, Essbase and associated BI solutions
Administration, maintenance and support of the SAS VA environment and Power BI environment

Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition install and configure
o OBIEE Installation and configuration
o Deploying applications to OBIEE
o Patch and upgrade OBIEE
o Deploy catalog and RPD using Admin tool • Create BI Schemas using RCU utility • Set Environment Variable for BI
o Create a BI Domain
o Verify Oracle Business Intelligence URL’s
o Start & Stop BI Server and instances
o Use EM to check system status up/down status
Install and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager
o Install OEM agents on AIX, Windows
o Configure agents to pick up instances of OBIEE
o Create application Metric’s
o Monitor disk usage, memory usage and CPU usage
Oracle Data Integrator install and configure
o Install ODI on different OS
o Create RCU
o Install Schema’s
o Create domain • Add users and grant permissions

o Install SAS Enterprise Guide
o Add users and groups on SAS Enterprise Guide
o Monitor SAS using SAS Environment Manager • Use SAS Management Console
o Apply licensing on all SAS servers
o Configure SAS Libraries, SAS to use Oracle DB
o Stop and Start SAS using Environment Manager
Use Python scripting for Weblogic Scripting Tool Language
Data-source configuration on SAS, OBIEE
Configure JDBC, JMS
Setup users and groups using Weblogic console
Configure Enterprise Manager to create groups for Single sign on

Requirements:
Five years’ experience in administering, maintaining and supporting Business Intelligence applications and solutions based on the Oracle BI (OBIEE) toolsets, SAS & Power BI
Five years working experience with administering Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), OBIEE, BI Publisher, Essbase, Visual analyser, WebLogic, SAS VA & Power BI
Must be proficient in SQL, Oracle and AIX and using of Putty
Must be experienced in using SQL Developer for Oracle
Project exposure (Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies)
Must have solid expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting BI applications
Must have experience in BI Infrastructure components from Applications, Databases, Operating Systems and Networks
Formulation and standards for the BI Ecosystem
Expertise in migrating BI applications
Advantageous:
Proficiency in at least one BI toolset (Qliksense, Microstrategy, BusinessObjects, Tableau, Cognos etc.)
Experience of working in an Agile development environment
Disciplined Agile Development (DAD) experience will be an added advantage

Qualifications/ Certification:
A degree in Computer Science / Information Management or equivalent
OBIEE Certified
Oracle and/SQL certified
Data warehouse certification
