Leading Software Consulting firm is looking for an ambitious BI developer to take on new challenges as part of their dynamic team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Relevant University Computer Science Degree / equivalent (advantageous)
- Proven experience in complex reports, master reports and cube reporting
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in database design and the normalization of data structures
- Proven experience developing a star schema and facilitated a team effort
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in Database administration
- At least 2 years’ data warehousing and Business Intelligence development experience
- At least 2 years SSIS experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in building and maintaining OLAP cubes in analysis services 2005/8
- Project management experience (advantageous)
- Experience on the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack preferable
- SQL and T-SQL - SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, cursors and general scripting.
- SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS)
- SQL Server Analysis Services(SSAS) and MDX
- SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) 2008
- Microsoft office package
- Ability to give accurate technical estimates
- Team-player with the ability to interact well with management and colleagues
- Ability to interact with users and clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
